Right now, the hot topic is “Outsourcing“.  What is it?  you may ask.  Well this is the hiring of other online people to help you out with your online jobs.  Things that you don’t want to do or things that you don’t know how to do.

Outsourcing is a mandatory step to your ongoing success, given how much opportunity there is and how little time all of us have. The issue isn’t how to make money, it is where to make it. The field of internet marketing is literally a cash haven, but it has to be done right, or that cash cow can turn into an angry bull.

So how do you do internet marketing right?

There are a 4 tips you must follow, and then I’ll talk about outsourcing.

If you have seen me present, you probably have a feel for what I am about to say – because my message is always the same.

1. You need a mentor – I don’t say this because I am one, I say this because to make it in this field in any decent amount of time, you need a jump start. There is simply too much information to sift through, sort out, combine, and culminate into a sequence that actually makes money. It is vast, and wide, and confusing, and a mentor keeps you laser focused on one task, until you get that done, and it is making money.

I am also asked with respect to the mentor, why don’t I just outsource it, and skip the mentor. So before I go into my other 3 points, I will touch on an outsourcing myth here. That myth is that they know what they are doing. They can do a great job, and I highly recommend outsourcing, but they need to be told so specifically what you need, such that if you don’t know what you need, or exactly what it should look like in order for it to be effective, neither will they.

They give back exactly what you ask for.

So if you don’t know how to create a landing page, neither will they. Or if that headline is effective, or those keywords optimized, and the list goes on. Many say they know – however if they really knew what they were doing, they wouldn’t be there. They would be off applying what they knew and making millions. Not the $3 – $10 per hour you are about to offer.

So BIG outsourcing tip – you have to know how to do something, or how it’s done, in order for them to duplicate what you need.

2. Mindset is critical – Working hard without a mindset to match can turn into a walk in cement with bare feet. No matter how hard you work, eventually you will get stuck. You need to balance the energy you put into mindset with practical application. You can’t outsource mindset, you need to grant this gift to yourself. So seek out sources that infuse you with positive energy, daily affirmations, and knock out anything negative in your life fast.

3. Use Formulas – Every field in internet marketing has a formula. Landing pages, sales pages, autoresponders, copywriting, article marketing, traffic, and each has a step-by-step easy to follow way to master that skill. And mentors hold these formulas. You can watch DVDs, read ebooks, and do internet searches, but unless it leads to a step-by-step action plan you can follow, you will be back to the hard work with varied results. Those resources are excellent supplements to a mentor, but the way you get the powerhouse formula, is directly from the horses mouth. In most cases, that is how the golden nuggets are passed along.

Once you have mastered a skill though, then is the time to document how you do it, use camtasia or free screen capture products, and then go to a resource that allows you to post a job, and get reverse bids.

Internet Marketing for Newbies from Tracy Repchuk

I presented my Internet Marketing knowledge to software developers and dealers for the first time, in the accounting field.

In a poll the results were as follows: Out of 50 people
Number that blog – 2 (TRAFFIC, PAGE RANKS, AUTHORITY POSITION)
Number that use Adwords – 2
Number that have submitted an article – 0 (FREE PUBLICITY!!)
Number that have sent a press release – 0 (TRAFFIC and PAGE RANKS)

You can see where I am going with this. And the incredible thing is many of these guys are very newsworthy. They have won awards, year after year, for sales excellence. Can you imagine how much more powerful they would be with a bit of Internet Marketing?

I was teaching them when they move an idea from the offline to the online world, they need to consider the 3 parts to an Internet business that sells:

1. The Right Product
2. The Right Website(s)
3. The Right Traffic

I kept the show at a bare minimum, focusing on the 3 aspects of a successful online business that lasts:

1. Systemize it – make it something that is easily repeated
2. Automate it – use an autoresponder for 24/7 personalized communication
3. Monetize it – figure out how to make money from what you know

Then I took them through the flow of websites and internet marketing, then a taste of the marketing funnel, an overview of traffic generation strategies, and some tips and tricks that I use. It was fun, and well received.

The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer has never been more apparent, especially to Internet Marketers this week.

It has been a very difficult week for many, as a community gets hit with the reminder that the time to live is right now, and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

It also drives home the message that your health is above all.

It started with the news that Jason Oman, my personal mentor for my drive for an Amazon bestseller, had been taken to the hospital, and rushed in for emergency surgery.

It started with a few head aches, and revealed a Brain Aneuryism. This is the same type of disease that struck John Ritter down in a few hours, and resulted in his death.

The word spread out Internet Marketing style, and multiple messages appeared in our inboxes with the fury and determination of a typical product launch. Only in this case, it was the news, the appeal for prayers, and then a mass appeal for a concerted effort with details of a mass prayer session.

It would be my guess, no matter what your beliefs, that you jumped immediately on board, to give your prayers and powerful thoughts and positive energy. Together a community banded to send Jason what he needed most – which was our love.

Throughout the days, and during the surgery, we continued our vigil, until at last the news was released 4 days after it started, that he was in recovery. We had all ignored the possibility of death, and 30% chance of recovery, and let prayer take over.

This was a fabulous example of not only the power of prayer, but something I have eluded to before, and that is the power and care of the internet marketing community.

Then, during this same time as I attended the Bookwise and Authorwise Bestseller convention and conference, Robert Allen gets struck with a serious eye issue. As his baby and company launch for its first ever convention, he undergoes mini surgery just to attend the President’s supper, as an interim solution to the surgery he will undergo the next day for a detached retina.

That evening the prayers start, over 1 million messages go out on behalf of Bob through powerful prayer chains. It is an amazing experience. The next day, as the conference opens at the time of his surgery, we all pray. We band together to create a combined effort for his immediate recovery.

And again, to our gratefulness, not only does he recover, and show up that very evening like a pirate of the carribean, he is in full form, and the surgery results are being called miraculous.

It has been a wonderful week for our community, and I was honoured to be a part of it.
